This discussion was created to provide students time to search and synthesize additional articles needed for the Leadership paper and begin identifying possible solutions to address your issue. This discussion also provides an opportunity to receive peer/instructor feedback on your ideas for possible solutions. Retrieve three (3) additional/not previously used peer-reviewed articles .

In your post:

  1. Summarize what you have learned from each article and identify trends/common themes.
  2. Discuss how nursing leaders could use the change process to address your issue in an often chaotic and rapidly changing health care environment.
  3. Identify two (2) possible solutions to resolve the issue at the organizational level (facility). Make sure the proposed solutions would be feasible/realistic for a single nurse leader to implement.
  4. Do you think the recommendations discussed in the The National Academies of Science, Engineering, and Medicine: The Future of Nursing 2020-2030: Charting a Path to Achieve Health Equity report could apply to your health care issue? If so, how?
